Staying fit through the Thanksgiving holiday poses a challenge when watching your weight. The Thanksgiving festivities are sometimes blown out of proportion with family and friends. It's a holiday meant to enjoy each other's company, but it's also celebrated with fat-laden food.
Turkey, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, stuffing, unhealthy appetizers and apple pies are usually staples, but these food options aren't kind when watching your waistline. Although these foods are fine in moderation; moderation is one of the hardest rules to follow when you're having a good time.
