When I talk to someone on a nutritional program of some sort I often hear them say, "I love French toast, but I don't eat it." I understand their point.
Everyone has certain guidelines to follow for special nutritional programs, but cutting out all of your favorites isn't always necessary. Food alternatives are available that make foods like French toast hearty and healthy.
Ava Cowan's Chocolate French toast is a favorite among bodybuilding and figure competitors, but you do not have to be a bodybuilder to enjoy this French toast recipe.
Please remember, this is Ava Cowan's recipe. She is an IFBB Figure Pro and this recipe fits her dietary needs. If you prefer, change the French toast recipe for your own personal tastes.
Early one morning, I ran out of the house for coffee and a brownie (shhhh...don't tell anyone) at my local 7-Eleven. It was 5:50 a.m. and I caught the tail end of a promotional piece on 98.7 about SKINNY D™ . Some weight loss programs exclude fruits and veggies, which leaves the skeleton of a monotonous food regimen, and an even more difficult time dieting. On the other hand, there are low glycemic fruits and veggies worth their weight on your plate, and should not go to waste. You can still gain weight if the rest of your eating regimen is not cleaned up, but low glycemic fruits and vegetables should be included in your daily meals. These low glycemic foods offer an abundance of healthy benefits.
"You on a Diet" seemed befitting for this post.
I plan to add new recipes and my own food & nutrition content to this web page, but I also decided to add explanations of popular diets, old diets and their recipes. Each will have links to their websites for further information.
