How many times have you heard someone say, "I want to look just like that?"
In the fitness industry this is one of many common statements said. The look is often correlated to someone else in the fitness industry, or an extremely fit gym goer.
I recently wrote an editorial on "Any exercise is better than nothing," and saw a great motivational photo on Facebook that reminded me of it.
I don't bash people who do not work out. It's not my style, just as working out might not be your style. What I do love, and find inspiring, is someone who is not in the best physical shape trying to improve their health.
For me, healthy lifestyles are about progress, no matter the pace, and seeing things through until you are content.
In the past few days I've heard people make comments about exercise that surprised me. Actually, they didn't really surprise me, but made me think about the different views on exercise. Even though I bodybuild, and train a lot, my views of exercise are not skewed in the sense that people have to train hours on end to by physically fit and healthy.
