The ultimate weight loss tool is...

It's not a fancy scale, personal trainer, or measuring tape. It's a simple, bound notebook where you store your life's journey. Or if you prefer, it's a computer app, which is a popular choice.
A new study by Psychological Science, a journal of the Association for Psychological Science, found that women who wrote about personal relationships, interests, goals or things they felt gave them value lost more weight than women who did not.
Although the study can not tell you journaling affects everyone the same way, it does reiterate the fact that my clients who journal lose more weight than those who don't.

It's also a reflective tool for personal growth. You can see the days you are doing well, and correlate it to activities in your life. It can also be used to see what other avenues of your life has grown, or needs growth.
